About Dr. Firoozeh Samim
Dr. Firoozeh Samim is a Canadian and American board-certified specialist in oral medicine and oral and maxillofacial pathology and is also a professor at the McGill University Faculty of Dentistry. After she earned her DMD in Iran, she relocated to Canada, where she attended more schooling and completed her four-year residency that focused on oral medicine and oral pathology. To her, the most rewarding thing about being a pathologist is being able to provide patients with a thorough and specialized explanation for the source of their concerns, lesions, and pain. Specializing in pathology gives her the ability to answer the previously unanswerable, which gives her patients peace of mind.
She visits Atlantic Oral Surgery on a rotating basis and assists the team by providing specialized diagnosis and studying the causes and effects of diseases affecting the oral and maxillofacial region of patients. She admires the team-oriented environment at this practice and appreciates the collaborative effort of the doctors to ensure that every patient is taken care of and receives the highest level of care. When you are treated by Dr. Samim, you can expect her to spend quality time explaining diagnoses and treatment options. She looks forward to providing relief and compassion to her patients.
